Hopeful Hearts, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing awareness about infertility, is set to host its first benefit event. The gathering will take place at Gene Record Park and The Wall in Henderson on Saturday, August 3, beginning with a 5K run.
After the race, participants can enjoy a pancake breakfast. Motorcycle enthusiasts can join a bike run scheduled to depart from The Wall at 10 a.m.
The event will offer a variety of activities for all ages, including 15 local vendors, children’s entertainment, and more. Starting at 1 p.m., live music will add to the festivities, and a silent auction will be held.
“Hopeful Hearts is a new nonprofit focused on raising awareness about infertility. Infertility affects one in eight couples in the United States,” stated Christi David, a representative of Hopeful Hearts.
The benefit aims to generate funds to assist a local couple with fertility treatments or adoption services.
