Nigerian actress Dayo Amusa is joyfully marking a major milestone in her motherhood journey, celebrating the four-month birthday of her son, Oluwafirewamiri Abdulrasheed. The actress, who welcomed her first child on November 18, 2024, at the age of 41, shared her happiness on social media, reflecting on the first 120 days of motherhood as a “magical” experience filled with love and gratitude.
Amusa posted heartwarming photos of her son on Instagram, expressing her emotions as she wrote:
“OLUWAFIREWAMIRI ABDULRASHEED
Today marks four months—120 days of happiness, with a lifetime ahead. Watching you grow, one giggle at a time, is the greatest adventure of my life.
You are our treasure, a wonderful gift from God. As we celebrate this milestone, may your life be richly blessed with wisdom, grace, and favor. We remain grateful for God’s blessings and grace. We love you, papa bear.”
Reflecting on her path to motherhood, Amusa also shared her deeply personal struggles with infertility. In a candid post at the end of 2024, she opened up about the challenges she faced before becoming a mother, including multiple miscarriages, unsuccessful IVF attempts, and serious health issues. In 2015, Amusa was diagnosed with uterine myomatosis, a condition that led doctors to recommend the removal of her womb. Despite the emotional and physical hurdles, Amusa’s persistence and faith eventually led to the birth of her son at 41, marking a triumphant and emotional new chapter in her life.
