Addressing the rising infertility rates, Motherhood Hospitals has inaugurated its state-of-the-art Motherhood Fertility and IVF Centre in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. This new facility aims to offer advanced reproductive care and cutting-edge fertility treatments, responding to the increasing demand for IVF services across the region. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), India accounts for 25% of global infertility cases, making the need for specialized fertility centers particularly urgent.
In light of growing challenges such as stress, lifestyle changes, and delayed family planning, the center aims to meet the needs of couples struggling with infertility. The newly launched centre integrates the latest in diagnostic technology, next-generation embryology techniques, and a world-class IVF lab to provide comprehensive, ethical, and effective fertility solutions.
Vijayarathna Venkatraman, CEO of Motherhood Hospitals, highlighted the importance of making fertility care accessible to all. “Infertility is becoming an increasing challenge, and it is essential that high-quality treatment options are available to everyone,” Venkatraman said. He assured that the Motherhood Fertility and IVF Centre is committed to providing transparent, ethical, and successful fertility treatments, backed by expert professionals and cutting-edge technology.
The centre offers a broad spectrum of fertility services, including IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization), ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), IUI (Intrauterine Insemination), fertility preservation (egg, sperm, and embryo freezing), and genetic screenings for hereditary conditions.
Dr. Rita Modi, Senior IVF Consultant at Motherhood Fertility and IVF, emphasized the importance of expanding access to fertility treatments, noting that one in six couples worldwide struggles to conceive naturally. “It’s crucial to make affordable and high-quality fertility care accessible to those in need. Fertility struggles often come with emotional distress and societal stigma, but modern scientific advancements have increased the chances of successful pregnancies through personalized, evidence-based treatments.”
The launch event was attended by DCP Rashmi Nandedkar, Navi Mumbai, who was the Chief Guest. She spoke about the need for greater awareness and access to infertility treatments, stressing the importance of breaking the stigma that often surrounds fertility issues.
Dr. Rupali Sunil Kadam, Facility Director of Motherhood Hospitals, Kharghar, also underscored the growing demand for fertility services in Navi Mumbai. “Kharghar is becoming an important healthcare hub, and this new center ensures that couples in the region no longer need to travel long distances for fertility treatments,” she noted.
The mission of Motherhood Fertility and IVF Centre is to provide affordable, high-quality reproductive care in an empathetic and supportive environment, making fertility treatments accessible to a larger number of people in Navi Mumbai.
