Samantha Busch, the wife of two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, recently shared a heartfelt reflection on her infertility journey through a series of Instagram posts. Her message comes after the signing of a new executive order by President Donald Trump on February 19, 2025, aimed at expanding access to in vitro fertilization (IVF) and reducing its costs.
The executive order, which is expected to roll out within 90 days, has drawn attention to the struggles many couples face when trying to conceive. As a passionate advocate for IVF, Samantha has long used her platform to raise awareness about infertility. In fact, her personal experiences with IVF were the subject of her book, Fighting Infertility: Finding My Inner Warrior Through Trying to Conceive, IVF, and Miscarriage.
Sharing her thoughts on the new executive order, Samantha expressed her gratitude, calling it “incredible.” She went on to explain how it resonated with her own journey, which led her to have her son, Brexton, through IVF after being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and her husband, Kyle, experiencing male factor infertility.
“I’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support in the past 24 hours,” she wrote. “For anyone in the midst of your infertility journey, this is for you. I’ve been where you are, and I want you to know that you are not alone.” Along with her message, Samantha shared a carousel of images documenting her IVF journey, including family moments and her work with the Bundle of Joy Foundation, which she and Kyle founded in 2015. The foundation provides financial support to families facing infertility, helping them achieve their dreams of parenthood.
Expanding Access to IVF: A Cause Close to Her Heart
Samantha’s efforts have not stopped with sharing her personal story. She has dedicated herself to advocating for military families who struggle with infertility, highlighting the lack of financial assistance available to those who serve the country. In an Instagram post, she shared her frustration that despite the efforts of the Bundle of Joy Foundation, many military families still do not have the financial support they need.
“In nearly 10 years, we’ve helped bring 100 beautiful babies into the world,” Samantha wrote, “Yet, so many who dedicate their lives to serving our country are left with zero financial assistance when they want to build families of their own.” She added, “Infertility affects 1 in 6 couples. I know God put me on this path for a reason, and I will not stop fighting until IVF is accessible for ALL, no matter their income or circumstances.”
Since its inception, the Bundle of Joy Foundation has provided over $1.9 million in grants, aiding 144 couples and helping bring 100 babies into the world. Samantha remains committed to expanding the foundation’s reach, particularly in supporting military families facing infertility.
A Legacy of Advocacy and Support
In addition to her work with IVF advocacy, Samantha Busch is an entrepreneur, fashion enthusiast, and lifestyle blogger. She has also been involved in NASCAR, where she previously owned a team in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Samantha and Kyle are parents to two children: Brexton, born via IVF in 2015, and Lennix, born through surrogacy in 2024.
Through her advocacy and her personal experiences, Samantha continues to be a voice for those affected by infertility, working toward a future where IVF is accessible and affordable for all families, regardless of their financial circumstances.
