Jess Potter, a star from Married at First Sight UK 2022, has revealed the joyous news of her “miracle” pregnancy after enduring years of fertility challenges.
In an emotional Instagram post, Jess shared her heartfelt journey with followers, detailing the struggles she and her partner, Tom, faced during their IVF process. The couple, who had experienced multiple setbacks, including three failed IVF cycles, four miscarriages, and countless injections, expressed their gratitude and excitement for their pregnancy.
“After almost 3 years, 3 failed IVF cycles, 4 losses, and hundreds of injections… Our journey has been filled with heartache, hope, and resilience,” Jess wrote. “But today, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude to share with you: Our miracle babe arriving July 2025! This little heartbeat is proof that dreams do come true, no matter how long the road may be.”
She also thanked those who had supported them through their fertility struggles and offered a message of solidarity for others still waiting for their own happy news. “For anyone still waiting, we see you, and we’re holding space for your story,” she wrote, alongside a special mention for the Fertilysis clinic, which played a key role in her journey.
In a follow-up Instagram Story, Jess shared additional details with her fans, revealing she was 12 weeks and 3 days pregnant, with the baby due on July 26. She also announced that the couple had chosen not to find out the baby’s sex and would be keeping it a surprise until birth.
Jess surprised fans by confirming that this pregnancy was conceived naturally, despite previously going through IVF. “We were meant to actually have IVF like this week, but we cancelled it obviously,” she said. “It was just on the immune protocol from Fertilysis, which I’ll go through again with everyone when I do a more in-depth video.”
The post has been met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow reality stars. April Banbury, another MAFS UK star, congratulated Jess, calling the news “amazing,” while Tayah Aveling shared her emotional reaction, writing, “Omg Jess this gave me goosebumps and tears to my eyes!! Couldn’t be happier for you, what a journey you’ve been on!”
The exciting announcement comes as Jess and Tom embark on a new chapter of their journey to parenthood, with fans eagerly awaiting more updates on their path to becoming parents.
