India IVF, a leading fertility provider founded in 2014 by Dr. Richika Sahay and Dr. Somendra Shukla, has successfully raised $1.25 million in pre-Series A funding from Tomorrow Capital. This marks the company’s first external investment since its inception, after a decade of profitable operations across five centers in North India, including Delhi NCR and Srinagar.
The new funding from Tomorrow Capital, a $100 million venture fund dedicated to early-stage healthcare investments, will enable India IVF to expand its reach across North India. The aim is to bridge critical gaps in fertility care access, particularly for underserved communities. India IVF is also pioneering India’s first tech-enabled fertility platform, offering comprehensive fertility care through advanced technology and a dedicated team of specialists.
Rahul Saha, Senior Principal at Tomorrow Capital, emphasized India IVF’s impressive growth and its commitment to addressing the unique fertility challenges faced by many Indian couples. “With its tech-enabled, patient-centric approach, India IVF provides high-quality, personalized care while navigating the emotional and often stigmatized journey of fertility treatment. Tomorrow Capital is proud to back ventures that make a meaningful impact, and we believe India IVF will set new standards in India’s fertility sector,” Saha said.
Dr. Somendra Shukla, Co-Founder and CEO of India IVF, expressed excitement about the new partnership, stating, “This funding will allow us to expand our network and bring advanced fertility solutions to more communities. We are committed to making a positive impact on families and growing India IVF into a trusted national brand.”
Dr. Richika Sahay, Co-Founder and Medical Director, highlighted the pressing need for accessible fertility care in India. Approximately 30 million couples in India struggle with infertility, but only 10% receive proper treatment due to limited access to care. Our mission is to leverage technology and innovation to provide quality, affordable, and empathetic fertility care to all,” she said.
With the support of Tomorrow Capital, India IVF is poised to expand its services and increase access to fertility care throughout North India, helping countless families in need.
