Bunnie Xo has been candid about the emotional challenges she’s facing throughout her in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey with her partner, Jelly Roll, as they work towards their dream of starting a family. Recently, she revealed that the process is taking a significant physical toll on her health as well.
In a recent TikTok video formatted as a “day in the life” of her dog, Chachi, Bunnie provided an intimate look into how IVF is affecting her day-to-day life. The video features a voiceover from Chachi’s perspective, which highlights Bunnie’s struggles as she undergoes fertility treatments.
“Mom said she’s bringing home a brother or a sister for us. Not sure what that’s gonna entail, but she hasn’t been feeling good,” the voiceover explains. “So I’m here to sit next to her, give her kisses and just let her know that she’s not alone,” the voiceover continues as the footage shows Bunnie resting on the couch, with an IV hooked into her arm, seeking comfort from her dog.
In addition to the TikTok video, Bunnie also shared a clip from what appears to be an OBGYN’s office, where an ultrasound machine is visible. Although she didn’t specify the exact purpose of the visit, it is likely related to her IVF treatments.
While this process has been emotionally and physically challenging, Bunnie and Jelly Roll remain committed to their goal of expanding their family. Jelly has two children from previous relationships, and together they hope to add another member to their family in the near future.
