LOS ANGELES, CA, March 6, 2025 – Kelly Stafford, wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, is making a powerful contribution to the infertility community through her involvement with Chosen Fertility. The organization, which provides both financial and educational support to those navigating fertility struggles, recently celebrated its expansion into Los Angeles with a Met Gala event on March 3, 2025.
As a board member of Chosen Fertility, Kelly Stafford shared her personal connection to the cause, reflecting on her own fertility journey. In an Instagram post, she opened up about the lasting impact of infertility on individuals and families, writing:
“Even though it’s been years since our own experience with infertility, it’s a community you belong to forever. 1 in 6 couples struggle to conceive, but as a society, we still have a long way to go in raising awareness and having open conversations about it.”
She continued to highlight Chosen Fertility’s work, offering support for those seeking to overcome infertility challenges:
“@chosenfertility offers financial and educational support for people on their fertility journeys. It was an honor to help kick off their expansion to LA this last weekend See my highlights for more information on how to donate or bid on silent auction items.”
Kelly and Matthew Stafford, parents to four children—twins Sawyer and Hunter, aged seven; Chandler, six; and Tyler, four—are passionate advocates for fertility awareness. Their personal journey with infertility has inspired Kelly to use her platform to help others in similar situations.
Matthew Stafford, who led the Rams to a Super Bowl victory in 2022, has been open about the importance of his family’s support in his career. Reflecting on his career-defining trade from the Detroit Lions to the Rams, Stafford acknowledged the pivotal role his family played in his professional decisions.
“I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them,” Stafford shared with PEOPLE. “I would never have made the decision to go in and ask to be traded unless I had full support from my family and understanding that things were going to change, both professionally and personally.”
His family’s unwavering backing was crucial in making the transition to Los Angeles, a decision that has brought immense personal and professional fulfillment.
“Having that support is the reason that I’m here today,” Stafford added. “The fact that we got chosen to join the LA Rams is something that we feel so blessed to be a part of and have that opportunity.”
On the emotional impact of his family’s support during the Rams’ Super Bowl run, Stafford said:
“There have been times where we’ve struggled on the field, and you get to go home to a wife and four little girls who just want to play dress-up and talk to you about something other than football. A lot of times, that’s exactly what I need.”
The Stafford family’s presence and support are a key factor in Matthew’s success, with his wife and children always by his side.
Matthew Stafford has committed to staying with the Los Angeles Rams, following much trade speculation, with the team announcing last week that they are working on a new deal to keep him in L.A.
