Infertility, as a very common and special disease in obstetrics and gynecology, has relatively high requirements for doctors’ professional level and experience in diagnosis and treatment. Moreover, the prevalence of infertility among people of childbearing age is increasing year by year.
At present, the proportion of infertile patients in China has approached about 10% of the total population of marriageable and childbearing age. Therefore, it is particularly important to improve the level of infertility diagnosis and treatment and promote the implementation of hierarchical diagnosis and treatment for infertility.
To this end, the “Physician Newspaper” will launch the “Jointly Helping for Good Pregnancy – Project to Improve the Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Ability of Hierarchical Diagnosis and Treatment for Infertility”. This project includes contents such as the collection of infertility cases, online meetings on sharing and commenting on excellent cases, as well as grass-roots teaching and free clinics.Through a series of activities, it will explore the cooperative mode of the upper and lower linkage of hierarchical diagnosis and treatment for infertility, further promote the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment and referral models to be implemented at the grass-roots level, correctly guide patients to receive reasonable and standardized hierarchical diagnosis and treatment, and guide grass-roots hospitals to make reasonable referrals, so as to better serve patients.
